10Jumps is committed to making tenjumps.com accessible to as many people as possible. We believe a well-built website should be usable by everyone, regardless of ability, device, or circumstance.
Our approach
We build and review our website with accessibility in mind. Our goals are that visitors can:
navigate most of the website using a keyboard,
read content at a size that suits them by adjusting browser settings,
use screen readers to access page content,
understand content through clear language and a logical structure.
We use Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our target standard and work towards it as an ongoing effort rather than a one-off project.
How we test
We run regular automated accessibility audits on our website using Google PageSpeed Insights, which uses the Lighthouse accessibility engine. As of our most recent audit, our accessibility score is 84 out of 100.
Automated testing catches many common issues but does not cover every accessibility requirement. We know that full WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance also needs manual testing for areas such as keyboard navigation flow, screen reader experience, and cognitive accessibility. We have not yet completed a full independent audit, and we are honest about that.
Known limitations
Because we have not completed a comprehensive manual audit, there may be accessibility issues on our website that we have not yet identified or addressed. We are working through improvements in priority order as part of our continuous development cycle.
If you run into an accessibility barrier on our website, we would like to hear about it so we can fix it.
